Mr. Solomon is of counsel to the firm, specializing in litigation. He has been in private practice for the entirety of his career, including as a partner in a law firm bearing his name for more than 35 years. Mr. Solomon has had broad litigation experience in Federal, New York State and New York City courts and in alternate dispute resolution forums. He has represented landlords and tenants in commercial real estate disputes; financial institutions and regional banks seeking to collect and work out claims against debtors; owners, general contractors and sub-contractors in connection with claims involving private and public construction projects; parties to various types of agreements, including purchases and sales of real estate, businesses and other transactions; and litigants in disputes involving business torts, discrimination accusations and sexual harassment claims. Mr. Solomon has also prepared and argued appeals before various Federal and New York appellate courts. In addition to being admitted to practice before the courts of New York State, he is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third and Ninth Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York.
